Digital and Analog Color Proofing

17056.jpg (13945 bytes) Digital production and digital proofing go hand in hand. Blackhawk uses the Kodak Approval Digital Color Proofing System to deliver remarkably precise laser color proofs up to 11" x 17" full bleed directly from your file output. Produced on actual coated production stock, these proofs are so accurate in their ability to match the press sheet and most optical system (analog) proofs, they can eliminate the need for color separations and film in the early stages of print production.

For fast, low-cost "first draft" digital proofs you can request black-and-white laser prints up to 11: x 17". And for continuous-tone proofing of digital images, ask for a Xerox 11" x 17" laser color proof.

For traditional color proofing of film output, Blackhawk offers customers the choice of Kodak Polychrome Matchprint systems for proofing film negatives or film positives for analog proofing system.
